We are going to be showing our Silver Insight at our Earthday celebration (Spokane, WA) which is set up through the Department of Ecology. We thought it might be nice to have a document that showed how great the Insight is for the environment. So, I thought you might like to see the results from the Washington state Dept. of Ecology Vehicle Emissions:
Cruise: HC=1ppm (limit 220)
CO=0% (limit 1.6%)
CO + CO2= 15.65 (limit > 6.00)
Idle: HC=2ppm (limit 220)
CO= 0% (limit 1.2%)
CO + CO2= 14.73 (limit > 6.00)
I don't know about you, but our car doesn't spend too much time idling, we love the auto stop !
